One Year

This past week, I celebrated my one-year anniversary at my job, marking the longest job I’ve ever had. I can’t believe it’s been a year already! It’s gone by so fast. I can’t express how happy I am to have found a job that I really enjoy going to every day. It was a long time coming.

Here are some of the highlights of my year at Activ8Social:

• SXSW: Right after I accepted the job, I got a call from my (new) boss saying the whole group was going to SXSW and if I would be interested in going. Considering I had been dreaming of going for years, I of course said yes. I was a bit nervous going with my co-workers and bosses who I only knew for about a month but it turned out to be an awesome experience. Can’t wait to go again this year!
• Take Lexi to Prom: My first big project at A8S was a campaign involving LPGA star Lexi Thompson and her high school prom. The campaign turned out to be a huge success and is still one of my favorite projects I’ve ever worked on.
• My Co-Workers: I know this sounds cheesey, but I really love my co-workers. We’re a young, fun group so there’s lots of inside jokes and long lunches. Everyone is supportive of each other and we really work as a team, which is a refreshing change.
